Therapeutic Yoga for Cancer – Online Sessions (via Zoom*)

Yoga can help people with cancer to manage fatigue and nausea and improve overall quality of life.  Research studies have found that yoga may reduce depression, anxiety, sleep disturbances, cognitive disfunction, pain, and menopausal symptoms. Yoga therapy is suitable for everyone and you don’t need to have any previous experience with yoga. Sessions are based around gentle, safe and accessible breath centred movements, which aim to help build strength, improve mobility, balance and build nervous system resilience. You are invited to practice seated (in a chair) and standing (however, you can choose to stay seated if you prefer) and we conclude each session with a guided meditation for which you can choose lie down.

  • Weekly Classes on Tuesdays at 6pm (NSW time)
  • All classes are recorded and you will receive a recording link via email after each session. This will enable you repeat the practice, or catch up if you are unable to attend at the scheduled time.
  • Each recording link will stay active until the next class.
  • Your investment is $100 for 5 sessions, payable in advance (or $25 for single class), and you can cancel any time.

Mindful Yoga Online Yoga Sessions (via Zoom*)

In each course we focus on deepening our understanding of the eight limbs of yoga. Your knowledge and understanding of yoga will evolve as we practice gentle movement, breath, mindfulness, relaxation and meditation. Classes are designed to meet you where you are at and you will be given simple tools to take your yoga off the mat and incorporate into your daily life.

Personalised Yoga Therapy

In one-to-one yoga therapy sessions, we use a holistic approach. Together, we look at your lifestyle, work, diet, sleep patterns, relationships and relevant health concerns. Your personal yoga practice is then designed through consultation to improve your physical, mental and emotional health.

  • An initial 75-minute consultation to assess your needs, establish objectives and to commence your practice.
  • I will design and document a customised home practice for you to embark upon immediately.
  • Subsequent sessions of 60 minutes for guided practice, progress evaluation and modification of your program.
  • Continuous guidance and support as you work through your yoga journey.
  • A minimum of three sessions is recommended.
  • Flexible appointment times.
  • Private sessions can be held on-line (via Zoom) or face-to-face.
  • Three Session package (3hrs 15mins) $300
  • Subsequent sessions (1hr) $100
